Retirement Planner
How much do you need to retire, and how much should you invest each month to get there? Enter your age and today's expenses.
How this calculator works
Your monthly expenses are inflated to your retirement age. The corpus is the amount that can pay those expenses, rising with inflation every year, until the age you plan for, while the balance earns the post-retirement return. Existing savings are grown and subtracted before the monthly SIP is worked out.
Things to keep in mind
- Plan till at least 85. Longer lives are the biggest retirement risk.
- Keep health insurance separate from your retirement corpus. Medical costs can derail a plan.
- After retirement, an SWP from a balanced portfolio can provide a monthly income.
